Knot just a hobby!
Macrame is my passion and a way for me to express my creativity, personality and style. I am inspired by this beautiful art which is soft, full of texture and makes you want to run your fingers through it! I adore knotting a classic wall hanging but equally I enjoy creating more practical items such as bracelets, plant hangers and coasters.
I turned to macrame as a way of reclaiming something back for myself in my life. I had, for many years, poured my everything into my career. I wasn't great at prioritising time for my family and myself. It all came to a head and I ended up going through a really tough time questioning my value and significance. So, I decided to do something for me. I saw a short piece about macrame on TV. I'd never seen this craft before. It looked interesting. I went to the hobby store and bought some cheap string and made my first piece (pictured). I was totally hooked. And have been ever since.
My aim is to share this unique and beautiful artform with as many people as possible. Whether you just want to admire a wall hanging or make something for yourself, I truley advocate the therapeutic benefits of this creative craft.
To my customers, I hope to make it evident that my small business is a piece of me, and I hope that as it continues to grow it will also continue to reflect my own personal values. My art is made with feeling. My supplies are procured from small UK manufacturers which supports the economy and minimises transport miles. My cord is 100% cotton, and suitable for vegans. My packaging is 100% plastic free and recycled where possible.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS
I gladly accept returns. Contact me within14 days of delivery. Return items back within 30 days of delivery. I accept cancellations if made within 2 hours of purchase. After this time I may have already purchased postage and shipped your order. But please contact me if you have any problems with your order. Due to the nature of the following items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
Custom or personalised orders
Digital downloads
Earrings (for health/hygiene reasons)
Unless faulty, buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
SHIPPING POLICY
ARTofFLIGHTmacrame ships only to the UK. All orders are sent via Hermes (2-5 working days delivery time). Please provide your email upon purchase to recieve tracking information. Please contact me with any queries regarding deliveries.
Please note shipping fees apply. I have tried to make my shipping fees as fair as possible. I do not make any money from shipping. In fact my shipping fees are less than the actual cost to ship. I can however offer free shipping on orders over £45.
